Gorgeous Green Bee

This small amazing metallic green is from the genus Agapostemon.
Also known as the Sweat Bee which isn't attracted to human sweat.
We really need to plant more wildflowers and plants in general to save all our bees and pollinators!
This one is fond of this Becky Shasta Daisy.

  3. Those are so pretty! I remember a few years ago when I saw my first sweat bee. I ran inside to google pics of shiny green insects. I was glad to find out that they don't mean us or the plants any harm. Wonder why they're called sweat bees?
